Appeals Policy
Central Okanagan Public Schools' Appeals Process

The School District Appeals Bylaw states that, "A student or a parent of a student who is entitled to an educational program in School District No. 23 may appeal a decision of an employee of the school board which significantly affects the education, health or safety of the student".

The appeals process in its entirety and the section of the School Act on which it is based is available upon request at the Main Office. At Ecole Glenmore Elementary School, we encourage parents to openly discuss any concerns with the teacher as the first step in any problem solving process. Unresolved concerns may then involve the principal, vice-principal and/or other district personnel.
